Another song written by the mute harper, Kwil ( [link] ). This one tells the story of the kidnapping of Greenrider and Candidatemaster J'ack of Dianath, and of Goldrider Sari of Aurath, by the deranged Brownrider (and former heir to Bitra Hold) T'mii of Trikth. Many of the weyrfolk now refer to that storage room where he hid and tortured them as "the nightmare room", and J'ack and Sari themselves don't talk about that night very often, and never go into detail about the things he did to them or made them do to him or each other.

T'mii likely would have been killed that night, were it not for the loss of his dragon and his rescue by the traitor Aineva and Divinith. Their escape left then-Wingleader S'ton with a broken leg, several cracked ribs, a concussion, and a trio of claw marks across his chest, in addition to the knife wounds inflicted during their battle.
